The Counseling Offices are open from 8:30am till 4:30pm for students and parents each school day. Parents may call the school to schedule an appointment with the student's designated counselor. When calling the counselor's office, please leave a voicemail if no one answers, as we are often in meetings with students and/or teachers.

Students must get permission from their teacher to visit the counseling office and must have a signed agenda from the teacher or a counseling pass from the counselor. Also, students can come in before school, or during class changes to complete a “request to see counselor” form (with permission from their teacher and a signed pass). Forms are located outside each counselor's office, as well as, in each teacher's classroom. A counselor will call for them as soon as possible. Parents and students may also directly e-mail their counselor to request an appointment or to ask questions.
The counseling office can help with a variety of things, including academic and personal concerns that affect your child's well-being. Counselors also coordinate Tier 3 SST/RTI (Student Support Team and Response To Intervention Meetings) and help to monitor student attendance. Call or email today and we will make every attempt to assist you in finding the answers to your questions. We look forward to working with all McConnell students and parents.
